Hello.
Yeah, it's been I while since I posted, but I'm quite busy with college and my own projects. Still, I've got some time and I'm going to share what I end up doing in some of my free time. I'm currently working on a wallpaper for my PC. I need to do 640 chibi sprites of anime characters. These are what I've got so far ^^ Aren't they cute?

I remember the good old days when I used to post my latest works on this journal. Well, I decided to do that again.
I have over six months working on a new art medium: Pixel art. I've done a lot of work of this kind and I'm very proud of my progresses.

Hello everyone.
It's been more than a year since my last post on this LiveJournal. I almost even forgot I had this joutnal until I received an e-mail notification of a reply to one of my old messages. It was a message from rill. Well, this post is to let you know that I'm alive, studying hard, achieving great grades on my college subjects and working on several projects, as well as enjoying a great time with my girlfriend and friends. So many things have passed on this long year or so, and I'm ready to let you know about my life so far. I would also love to hear from you... I wonder how many of you remember me? I wonder how many of you I remember? ^^;;; It's kinda selfish, but I'm probably back for good. I dunno why I even stopped using the journal in the first place, but I think I'm back.

Hello!
Well. I finally went to this movie. I thought it was great. I actually enjoyed the whole ride, except for one really big thing I didn't like at all. I really didn't like the guy that played Spidey... I dunno why, but he looked like an idiot. The rest of the cast, at least IMHO (and specially Kirsten Dunst as MJ) was great. What do you think of this movie?
On another notes, I'm doing so good in college. The work is kinda hard, but I'm enjoying it. Today I have english test. But english is not a problem for me at all. I also started yesterday with a "daily manga" of sorts. It's a good and fun way to improve my artwork, doing one manga page at a time. I'm posting it at my art thread in the Gamingforce Forums, which, by the way, are some of the best (if not the best) forums I've ever seen!

Hello once again...
Geez... I'm getting a bit tired from all the political shit that's happening here in Venezuela. Everytime I turn on the TV there you see the interpelations (dunno if that word exists or not in english) regarding the events that happened here during april 11th, 12th and 13th. The country is very unstable and there is an uneasiness floating on the air. You can feel it everywhere, anytime. It's very sad. I just hope that people start to think about what is best for our people and that all this nonsense stops, once and for all.
On another note, I went yesterday with my girlfriend and some other friends to see a movie. It wasn't your ordinary movie. We went to the L?a Bermudez Art Centre to see one movie which was part of the Asiatic Cinema Festival. We went to see Battle Royale. Man, what a movie. It's part sick, part fun, part anime (sure, it's live action, but it's sooo anime-like in some aspects... It's almost hilarious). Well, my veredict is: Good. I really enjoyed the movie. But I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't like distasteful violence (if there's such a thing as "tasteful violence")...

Hello there friends!
(I warn you that this is going to be a bit long when compared to my other posts...)
Hello once again, old friends. Wow... I remembered shortly that there was a thing called LiveJournal and I also noticed that a lot of good old friends used it to post news of their lives and their art and whatever they feel they need to share. I also noticed how selfish I've been, for not sharing the events that were happening around me. Well, but like the wise old saying goes, it's never late, and here I am once again, hoping that you remember me (I suppose it hasn't been THAT long actually, but I have a lot to tell you. In this period of time a lot has happened). Let's see if you endure my whole post and tell me your opinions on all of this.
Where to begin? Where to begin? Well, I could tell you that I'm now studying the second semester of Graphic Design. All is quite good here. I really like this. Some of the work is a bit tedious, but so far I'm having a good time studying this career. I know I have left my manga drawings a bit on the side, but they should return to the spotlight pretty soon. I'm just adapting to the whole slew of new arty things I'm discovering, though I still want to get some gear and stuff. I have drawn, a lot, and I'm working on some projects too... I'll let you know about them soon, I hope. Oh, and I sure as hell need to work a lot on my personal website and my Elfwood gallery. I left the little lovely gallery to gather dust for this long, long time. It's about time to give her a little present. Since I stopped posting here, I've been kinda disconnected from this wonderful community of artists I discovered through Elfwood (my good friends Stephanie, Christine and the other Christine, Niko, Beano, Khadgar, Neggme, Kathy, Anouk, Janelle, Jia Ling, Yip Shing Kwong... and I'm sure there are many more) and I feel a bit bad about that, but I hope to get back on board pretty soon. Maybe this is the beggining of my comeback? Who knows?
On two of my biggest (or should I say my biggest hobbies) hobbies, which are anime and video games, I have done a lot of things. Regarding the first one, there are some very exciting happenings here. We have created a club, which is called "AM^2" (that stands for AniManga Maracaibo) and we have grown, a lot. We now have more than twenty members, and we sometimes gather to watch movies, interchange opinions and merchandise. So far, so good. I also have the chance to see a lot of new series thanks to some people I got to know through another group of friends. I'm currently so into Hellsing now. It's such a nice series (come on, you gotta love a vampire named Alucard as the protagonist of an anime). And on the video gaming front, I have played and beaten some great games, like FFIX, FFX, Jak and Daxter, and I'm currently playing a great little PS2 game called Ico. It's so engaging, but I'm having trouble with some of the puzzles T_T So tough! >_< But that's part of the entertainment value of the package.
On other topics, I know have a girlfriend. Well, actually, we have 5 months together. I'm very happy with her, and we've done a lot of things together. I'm so grateful for having her. I didn't think I would have a gf so soon, but things happen, and I'm happy for it. Her name is Patricia, and she's very nice. I'm a bit sad now, because she's preparing to go and study abroad, in the US, but I also feel happy for her, because she has the chance to travel, meet people, study on a better place than Venezuela. It's going to be painful, but it's a chance of growth she shouldn't miss.
Well... I don't know what else to say, other than I hope to be back here once again, sharing a lot of nice (and not so nice) things with all of you guys. I'm really looking forward to hearing from you once again.

-_- I believe now I'm back from the realm of the dead people X_X God! I've been away for so long... I don't want to talk right now ^^;;; Sheesh... Sometimes I'm so careless, and I still need to adapt (I make it sound tough... Maybe I was used to do nothing, since school was so easy) to fit inside my schedule the classes, college and all my time consuming hobbies... Oh my god!!!
This is just a very sad day... I, either, as lots of people, just can believe this... I was happy in my university classroom when I hear that New York City was under attack. When I got down in the middle break I saw in those TVs all over the place the crude and devastating images... God... Its just so horrible! I was there! I can't believe the towers are gone! How many people were there??? This is just a horrible crime... I still cant think of anything happy... It just seems mankind gets worse every day. I don't have any more words... Indeed a very sad day...

I'm writing this post from a cyber caf? in Margarita, where I'm enjoying a wonderful vacations.... What??? A FR contest??? I'm sooo glad I brought paper and stuff with me so I can start developing my entry, right away. However, with so much possibilities... O.o I need to think it very carefully. The only thing (aside of being away sooo long from the 'net) I don't like about vacations (better said: travelling) is the fact that I can't see the tons of new anime they are airing back home ;_; In fact I missed Dirty Pair yestyerday, and I'm dying to see more of Silent M?bius ;_; And CCS... >_< well, at least my bro' is taping them... This is a short miscelaneous post, but well, I can't help it, and this is a great use for this LJ thingies ^_~
NEW ANIME!!!
New anime series! Now those of us who have access to satellite TV and select cable TV providers will be seeing Silent M?bius! Sugoi da ne! Sooo lovely... Soo great animation, and Katsumi child is sooo cute O.o *Keops faints*. And this is just the begginning: The same channel (Locomotion) has aquired the rights to air Jin-Roh, Pia Carrot he Y?koso, Ex-driver and Labyrinth of Flame! So much new anime -_- *faints once again*...
On the artistic side: I am working on a project, but I can't show anything... And I'm not even sure when I'll show something, but I have some sketches I might upload later ^_~
For Neggme: Nice web! The Opencanvas section is sooo cool! ^_~ And the gift gallery! O.o my humble gift is there! ^_~ Keep up the lovely work, Neggme! You rock!

Hello my friends
I'm finally back from my trip to Caracas. It was very nice to travel if only for a couple of days, and I could finally get my hands on some new stuff: 1) Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Its from Konami, It's Castlevania (2D Castle action ^^), Its KICK ASS, there are quite few bishies in ir, gorgeous character design and SUPERB music. Behold. ^o^ 2) The Worm Light: It sucks a bit, but its better than the screen all alone. 3) Xenogears: Creid FINALLY!!! >_< 4) Some manga (Harlem Beat, DNA^2, Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, etc...). And three new DC games (not so new, except for Sonic Adv. 2. The other two games are Soul Calibur and Power Stone 2). Well, thats all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello everyone.
Dunno what this is. I think the tilte kinda describes it well. In fact I like this art media a lot: Enter Pixeley art. When I open my art website (not very soon. I'm having major trouble with the design and I need some good server o.o) I'll have a pixeley art gallery for all my pixeley works. To approve my definition of pixeley art, the drawings must be drawn pixel by pixel in a 50x50 pixel canvas and then stretched to fill a 400x400 canvas without filtering. It can also be done at 100x100 and then stretched to 800x800 (pretty huge, ne?). Well, enjoy, and if you want, try your hand at pixeley artwork. It's kinda fun ^_^
